In a world using the " for the worthy" seed, Queen Slime's AI is changed as follows:. The Bouncy Slimes and Crystal Slimes will not fire projectiles while they are floating on liquids, like most other slimes. In the Queen's second phase she is no longer affected by liquids unless she is trying to stomp the player. Queen Slime herself and the Regal Gel are slowed down by liquids. The slam attack is capable of hitting the player in the air if they are above Queen Slime when she performs this attack. Despite being a Hardmode boss, developer items cannot be obtained from Queen Slime's Treasure Bag. The Royal Gel does not make players immune to the slimes she summons. This means the player can go into a different biome once the fight starts and the fight will continue as normal. While the boss needs to be summoned in The Hallow, the fight can take place anywhere. She can no longer teleport to the player. If she does not hit a surface after a while, she will stop and fly back to the player. She attempts to fly above and stomp the player when in close enough proximity. She rapidly fires Regal Gel in 10 directions. She can also pass through blocks and her AI changes: When at 50% health, Queen Slime grows wings and begins to fly above the player, similarly to a Slimer. She will sometimes perform this attack multiple times in a row.

Just like King Slime, if she cannot reach the player, she will teleport to them. If used outside the Hallow, the boss will not be summoned and the item will not be consumed. Queen Slime can be spawned in the Hallow by using a Gelatin Crystal, which is consumed upon use, immediately summoning the boss.
